Betio port (port code: KITRW) is a medium-sized port in Tarawa, Kiribati. Situated on Tarawa Atoll, it is surrounded by reefs, which open to form a navigable bay off the harbour. Vessels can berth at the quays but larger vessels are worked offshore by lighters. The jetty can only accept vessels with a maximum draught of 6.0 meters.
