Bosaso Port (port code: SOBOS), also known as Bender Cassim Port or Bender Qaasim Port, is a medium-sized fishing port in Somalia. It is located in the south part of the Gulf of Aden, on the northeast coast of Somalia.
The port consists of an inner basin which is protected from north by a mole which extends about 420 meters west; a light (red column with ladder) is exhibited from the head of the mole. On the west side of the port, a breakwater extends about 200 meters northeast from the shore.
The main imports entering this port are cement, sugar, rice and construction materials. The principal exports leaving this port is cattle. The type of vessels regularly calling at this port is cargo vessels, accounting for around 49%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 165 meters. The maximum draught is 8.2 meters. The maximum deadweight is 11,479t.
