Bunbury Port (port code: AUBUY) is a large commercial port in Australia. It is situated around the south end of Koombana Bay in southwestern Australia, 182 kilometers from Perth.
The port is divided into an inner and an outer harbour and is sheltered from the Indian Ocean by a natural breakwater, Cape Naturaliste. There are facilities for handling break bulk, liquid and dry bulk.
The port handles approximately 13.7 million tons of cargo annually. The main exports leaving this port include alumina, woodchips, mineral sands, silica sand, spodumene, timber, kaolin clay, rutile and general cargo. The principal imports entering this port are petroleum coke, methanol, caustic soda, potash, mineral sands, vegetable oil, chemical fertiliser and general cargo.
Each year about 340 vessels visit this port, among which around 53.5% are cargo vessels, and 29% are sailing vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 230 meters. The maximum draught is 11.6 meters. The maximum deadweight is 85,229t.
