The Port of Burntisland (Port Code: GBBUR) is a port located on the northern side of the River Forth, where it is ideally located to provide nationwide transport and distribution by sea, rail, and road. As the Forth’ s most natural harbor and one of its oldest ports, the port houses two major tenants including Burntisland Fabrications (BiFab), and Briggs Marine who use the port as a base to service ships coming in and out of the Forth. In recent years, it has experienced a revival from coastal shipping and opportunities within the offshore renewable energy sector.
