Burtonport Harbor (Port Code: IEBUP) is a port situated on the mainland coast of Ireland about 2 miles to the east of Arran Island and 5 miles northwest of Dungloe. The port serves as the ferry port for Inishfree Island (Inis Fraoigh), Aranmore Island (Árainn Móir) and Rutland Island (Inis Mhic a Doirín). The authority is Donegal County Council. In its peak season, it can get very congested with fishing boats and ferry traffic. Local boats can berth at the pier but there is no room to anchor in the harbour. There are many anchorages between the off lying islands, Rutland Harbour being the principal one, but the channels to them are small and studded with rocks.
