Bushehr Port (port code: IRBUZ), also known as Bushire Port, is an expanding dry cargo port in the central Persian Gulf region and one of the main ports in southern Iran. It is situated on the southwest coast of Iran on the Persian Gulf.
The port has seven berths for special economic zones (SEZ), general and oil products. It provides facilities for handling break bulk, dry bulk and liquid and lightering service but the discharge of cargo to barges is now rare. It handles approximately 3.15 million tons of cargo annually.
Each year about 580 vessels this port, among which around 45% are cargo vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 222 meters. The maximum draught is 10.5 meters. The maximum deadweight is 70,767t.
