Cabo Rojo Port (port code: DOCRO) is a medium-sized port in Dominican Republic. It is located on the southwest coast of the country.
The port offers facilities for handling break bulk and dry bulk. It also has one berth which is a private installation built by Alcoa Exploration Company for its bauxite and limestone mining operations near the Haitian border, in the southwest corner of the Dominican Republic. This mining operation is now controlled by Ideal Dominicana SA. The port facilities are still used for the shipments of limestone and bauxite.
Approximately 30 vessels visit the port annually. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 150 meters. The maximum draught is 5.2 meters. The maximum deadweight is 9,661t.
