Cai Lan port (port code: VNCLN), also known as Quang Ninh port, is a small port in Vietnam. Situated on the Cau Bai Peninsula, approximately 50 kilometers east of Haiphong, the port consists of a container and general cargo quay which is due to be extended from the present single berth to a four berth deep water facility, aiming to form the Cai Lan International Terminal (CICT).
The port’s maximum draught is 11.0 meters and the maximum deadweight is 75,000t. The port handles 5,850,000t of cargo, 204,000TEU and 400 vessels annually. 82.5% of the vessels having visited the port is cargo vessel.
