Carloforte Port (Port Code: ITCAR) is a port situated on the east coast of the island of San Pietro, off the southwestern coast of Italy's Sardinia Island. The small port has a well sheltered roadstead which provides good anchorage in 22m of water, but the port itself has just 4.6m in the harbour entrance. It is authorized by Carloforte Port Authority and used for exporting zinc, lead and tuna fish. This port also serves as a fishing port. The town of Carloforte primarily relies on tourism and commercial fishing. Regularly scheduled ferries connect Carloforte port with Sardinia Island (at Portovesme and Calasetta) and with a fishing port on Sant'Antioco Island.
