Carnarvon Port (Port Code: AUCAR) is a port situated in Shark Bay of Western Australia, on the east side of the south entrance point to the Gascoyne River. Carnarvon Jetty (known as Babbage Island Jetty) is now closed and the port facilities have been retained for tourist fishing only. There is also a commercial fishing boat harbour to service approximately 30 trawlers which operate in the Shark Bay area. The services offered in the port are primarily for small vessels in the Boat Harbour. The types of vessels regularly calling at Carnarvon are Pleasure Craft (31%), Fishing (31%).
