Castellon Port (port code: ESCAS) is a medium-sized port in Castellon De La Plana, Spain. It is situated towards the northern end of the Gulf of Valencia on Spain's Mediterranean coast.
The port offers facilities for handling break bulk, liquid, and dry bulk. An offshore sea island oil terminal and a CBM berth are situated approximately 2 nautical miles southeast of the entrance to the port. There is a separate harbour used by fishing vessels.
The port handles approximately 12.5 million tons of cargo, and 104,00TEU annually. The commercial cargoes handled by this port include containers, dry and liquid bulk, general cargo.
Each year about 1,300 vessels visit this port, among which around 38% are cargo vessels, 19% are tankers, 17% are fishing vessels, and 15% are sailing vessels.
