Cayo Arcas Terminal (Port Code: MXCAT) is a seaport situated 3nm south of the Cayo Arcas islands in the Bay of Campeche. Offshore oil berths are operated and owned by Pemex for the loading of petroleum products. There is an anchorage for vessels awaiting berth or daylight. Approximately 300 vessels visit the port annually. The volume of cargo handled in the port of Cayo Arcas amounted to 20.6 million metric tons in 2020, down from 22.72 million metric tons in the previous year. The port had the sixth largest throughput in Mexico in 2020.
