Cebu Port (port code: PHCEB) is a large seaport in Philippines. It is located in the centre of the east coastline of Cebu Island, bordering the northwest side of the Bohol Strait.
The port has 4,572 meters of quayage providing 33 berths for handling general cargo, bulk, Ro-Ro and container vessels. In addition, there are 3 finger quays, 2 of which handle international trade. The port’s international terminal covers an area of 12 hectares and is composed of a 495-meter-long dedicated berth. Its passenger terminal spreads over 2,688 square meters.
The port is a cargo import and export center for Cebu Island and nearby islands, and its annual throughput is second only to Manila Port. It handles approximately 10 million tons of cargo, including 400,000TEU annually. Principal exports leaving this port include hemp, coconut oil, tobacco, sugar, chrome, iron ores, cement and copra. Main imports entering this port are coal, petroleum, rice, salt and general merchandise.
