Ceuta Port (port code: ESCEU) is a free port in Spain. It is located at the southeast end of the Strait of Gibraltar.
The port is an artificial harbour sheltered by two north facing breakwaters (1,500 and 500 meters in length), the entrance being 300 meters wide with a depth of 18.0 meters. Apart from being an important bunkering port it is equipped to handle container, Ro-Ro and passenger/vehicle ferry traffic, with regular services to Algeciras, Malaga and Melilla.
The port handles approximately 12,200 vessels, 2.75 million tons of cargo, 2.1 million passengers and 13,400TEU annually. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are cargo vessels, accounting for about 55%; tankers, taking up around 30%; and sailing vessels, taking a proportion of approximate 8%.
