Charlotte Port (Port Code: USCLT) is an inland port in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
Charlotte's central location between the population centers of the northeast and southeast has made it a transportation focal point and primary distribution center. Strategically located in the heart of the region’s manufacturing and distribution centers, the port serves the I-85 and I-77 corridors.
With 20 acres, 10 of which are already developed, the port can accommodate 2,000 grounded/wheeled containers. It also provides container yard operations to ocean carriers and serves as a staging area for empty and loaded containers with maintenance and repair service from an onsite vendor.
