The Port of Cheju (Port Code: KRCJU), also known as Jeju Port, is a seaport located in the city of Jeju, South Korea, at coordinates of North33.5224° East126.5408°. It is 2 km away from the ciy. The Port is used for cruise ships and exports of goods. Built in around 1913, it has had a long cultural, political and commercial importance. The Port of Jeju covers 354 hectares of water area with a depth of about two meters and a tidal range of about 2.4 meters. The Jeju Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office is the port authority responsible for managing and operating the Port of Jeju and all of Cheju Island. To deal with the increasing volumes of ocean-going traffic, it has installed the latest information technology and other management systems to assure prompt and efficient services.
