Churchill Port (port code: CACHV) is a medium-sized private port in Canada. It is located on the east shore at the mouth of the Hudson River, on the west coast of Hudson Bay, Canada.
The port is strategically important, providing an outlet with access to the Atlantic Ocean, for agricultural and mineral products of Western North America which would otherwise have to be transported overland. It also acts as a refuelling and supply depot for communities within the newly formed Nunavut territories. It is the main distribution centre of the Hudsons Bay Company for its trading posts in the bay and vicinity.
The port is open to all foreign vessels in accordance with the Arctic Pollution Act. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 137 meters.
