Colonia Port (port code: UYCOL/ UYCYR) is a medium-sized port in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. It is situated on the north shore of the River Plate.
The port is mainly used for ferry/hydrofoil services to Buenos Aires. It consists of an angled breakwater and a basin with three quays. One of these, with a depth of 4.5 meters alongside is used for ocean going vessels and has 4 x 3t cranes and 2 x 5t cranes. The west quay is for coastal vessels, with only 3.9 meters of water. This is a free zone which directs a certain tonnage of import cargo for storage or transshipment, but the port has little cargo movement.
