La Union port (port code: SVCUT / SVEZB), previously known as Cutuco port, is a medium-sized port in El Salvador. It is situated in the Gulf of Fonseca, approximately 3 kilometers from the town of La Union, in the eastern part of the country.
There is one concrete pier capable of handling dry/bulk vessels, which is currently not operational, and two oil berths in the port. The main exports from this port are coffee and cotton, while fertilisers and general cargo are imported.
Approximately 45 vessels visit the port annually, among which about 60% are fishing vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 180 meters. The maximum draught is 9 meters. The maximum deadweight is 37,653t.
