Daru Port (Port Code: PGDAR) is a port situated on Daru Island and near the mouth of the famous Fly River in the Western Province, Papua New Guinea. The port has a causeway of 100m adjoined by two ramps and a 30m jetty. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 60 meters. The maximum draught is 2 meters. The maximum Deadweight is 1160t. Shippers are advised though to check this before shipping and with heavier loads prior advice and approval must be sought from the relevant Port Authority.
