Derna port (port code: LYDNF) is a small commercial harbour in Derna, Libya. Situated in eastern Libya, between Benghazi and Tobruk, it has reasonable equipment for handling bulk, container, general and Ro-Ro vessels.
The main exports from this port are wool, cement and fish. The main imports to this port include grain, livestock, animal feed and general cargo.
Each year approximately 30 ships visit the port. Till now the maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 33 meters. The maximum draught allowed in this port is 8.2 meters and the maximum deadweight is 10,000t. The port will be constructed in three stages over fifteen years. The first stage, has been completed, includes a 610 meters long general cargo berth and a 310m oil jetty, with a depth of 16.0m.
