Djen Djen port (port code: DZDJE) is a medium-sized port in Algeria. It is located on the Mediterranean, 360 kilometers east of Algiers, 150 kilometers from Constantine and approximately 10 kilometers from Jijel.
The port, recently commenced operating by DP World, handles general cargo and containers, including grain, sugar, mineral fertilisers and timber. It also imports iron ore and exports finished steel products for the nearby Bellara steel complex.
The port has facilities for handling break bulk and containers. There are three quays and three Ro-Ro berths. It handles approximately 100 vessels and 1.3 million tons of cargo annually. Cargo vessels account for more than 92% of the vessels regularly calling at this port. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 233 meters. The maximum draught is 13 meters. The maximum deadweight is 82,600t.
