Eilat port (port code: ILETH) is a medium-sized commercial port in Israel. It is situated at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea, at the southern end of the Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline, which links Israel's Red Sea coast with the Mediterranean.
The port is equipped to handle most cargoes and a small repair service is available. It handles approximately 2.1 million tons of dry cargo, 70,000 cars and 50,000TEU annually. The principal exports are minerals, phosphates, potash and ores. The main imports include timber, building materials, foodstuffs and vehicles.
