Escravos port (port code: NGESC) is a medium-sized oil terminal in Nigeria. It is situated approximately 9.5 nautical miles offshore, close west of the River Niger delta.
The terminal, operated by Chevron Nigeria Ltd, consists of a fixed platform with two SBMs (SBM No 2 and SBM No 3) for loading export crude and an LPG FSO. SBM No 2 is off the mouth of the Escravos River while SBM No 3 is situated 3.2 nautical miles west of SBM No 2, and the LPG FSO is situated 4 nautical miles west-northwest of SBM No 3.
The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are supply ships, accounting for about 30%, crew boats, taking up around 27%; and passenger vessels, taking up a proportion of 11%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 75 meters. The maximum draught is 4.4 meters. The maximum deadweight is 3,000t.
