Port of Fall River (port code: USFLR / USFAV) is a medium-sized port in the United States. It is situated on the east shore of Mount Hope Bay on the Taunton River in Massachusetts, about 18 miles southeast of Providence.
The port has facilities for handling Ro-Ro, general cargo and bulk vessels. There are two 500-foot berths adjoin ten acres of land, with four acres for exterior storage and a 96 thousand square foot shed.
The port handles about 3 million tons of cargo annually. Cargoes handled include paper, latex and chemicals, frozen fish, coal and lignite, vehicles, and equipment. About 11% of the vessels regularly calking at this port are cargo vessels. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 147 meters. The maximum draught is 7.1 meters. The maximum deadweight is 19,972t.
