Grand Bank Port (Port Code: CAGBK/CAGRB) is a port situated on the South shore of Fortune Bay, South Newfoundland. The port has a single Government owned pier plus a fishing wharf. Limited quantities of general cargo are handled, fishing being the principal industry. Approximately 4,000t of cargo is handled annually. The authority is Grand Bank Harbour Authority. The epitome of rural Newfoundland, Grand Bank is the most famous community on the Heritage Run Scenic Driving Route, and one of the most beautiful communities anywhere along the Atlantic seaboard. The Grand Banks are one of the richest fishing grounds in the world.
