Port of Green Bay (port code: USGRB) is a medium-sized port in the United States. It is situated on the Fox River at the south end of Green Bay which is located at the northwest corner of Lake Michigan.
The port handles approximately 1,900,000t of cargo annually. Apart from general cargo, other cargoes handled include wheat, flour, barley malt, rolled oats, tallow, soya, wood pulp, cement, machinery, building materials and petroleum products. Coal and limestone are the port's two most prominent bulk cargoes.
Due to river icing the port is closed from December to April the next year. It accommodates around 175 vessels each year, among which about half are tankers. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 234 meters. The maximum draught is 7.9 meters. The maximum deadweight is 37,848t.
