Grundartangi port (port code: ISGRT) is a medium-sized port in Iceland. Situated on the north coast of Hvalfjordur Fjord in Faxafloi Bay, north of Reykavik on the southwest coast of Iceland, the port consists of a rectangular landfill square with 2 berths.
Serving two factories, an aluminium smelter and a ferrosilicon plant, the port handles approximately 250 vessels with 1,500,000t of cargo each year. The principal exports are ferrosilicon and aluminium and the imports include raw materials in bulk for these factories.
