Hannan port (port code: JPHAN) is a medium-sized port in Japan. It is situated on the Inland Sea coast of Honshu, 45 kilometers south of Osaka in Osaka Bay.
The port extends from its southwest harbour limit to the mouth of Otsu Kawa, 6 nautical miles north-northwest, and is divided from north to south into No. 1, 2 and 3 Areas. To the south of this port is Kansai International Airport island.
This port handles approximately 3,420,000t of cargo annually. The cargo primarily handled are timber, logs and sugar. Each year, about 7,000 vessels visit this port. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are cargo vessels, accounting for about 40%; and tankers, taking up around 29%.
