Harwich port (port code: GBHRW) is a large port in the United Kingdom. It is located on the east coast of England, at the southeast extremity of the estuary of the River Stour.
This port has two distinct port areas: Harwich International Port, which is owned by Hutchinson Whampoa Ltd. but operated by Harwich International Port Ltd, and Navyard Wharf, owned and operated by Harwich Dock Co Ltd. Harwich International Port is equipped with a terminal for regular passenger cargo Ro-Ro services to the Hook of Holland and Esbjerg and has an annual throughput of approximately 2,000,000 passengers, 300,000 cars, 2,940,000t of cargo and 2,000TEU.
