Haugesund port (port code: NOHAU) is a large seaport in Norway. It lies on Norway’s southwestern shores off the North Sea in Rogaland County, about 16 kilometers north-northwest of the Port of Kopervik.
Haugesund Cargo Terminals at Husøy is one of the largest traffic ports in Western Norway. The container terminals are among the most advanced terminals in the Norway and are directly connected to the North Sea and provide excellent connections to the Europe, UK, Scandinavia and the Baltics. State-of-theart equipment and the largest cranes ensure fast, safe and reliable transhipment of containers. The bulk terminal has a unique geographical position and can handle both dry bulk and other breakbulk commodities based on tailor made logistic solutions. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the terminal has a capability of handling over 35,000 tons of cargo. The loading/discharging capacity is about 400 t/hour.
