Port of Ho Chi Minh City (port code: VNSGN), also known as Saigon Port, is the largest port in the south of Vietnam. Located on the west bank of Song Sai Gon, it is accessed via two channels of the Saigon and Soi-Rap Rivers. The Saigon River is navigable by vessels up to LOA 220 meters, draught 11.0 meters, and deadweight 36,000t, while the Soi-Rap Rivers is limited to vessels with a maximum draught of 6.7 meters.
This port handles approximately 12,000,000t of cargo and 1,200,000TEU annually.
