Hopa port (Port Code: TRHOP) is a small-sized port in Turkey. It is located at the southeastern end of the Black Sea, approx 15km from the Georgian border and 35km from Batumi at coordinates N 41° 24' 50.40" - E 041° 25' 58.79". Hopa is a sheltered port, protected by two breakwaters. The main exports are pyrites, coal, containers, cotton, copper, grain, minerals and timber. Traffic figures: Approx 90 vessels visit the port annually. The types of vessels regularly calling at HOPA are Fishing (60%), General Cargo (20%), Fishing Vessel (10%). The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 145 meters. The maximum draught is 6.7 meters. The maximum Deadweight is 12630t.
