Jobos (Port Code:PRJOB) is located on the south coast, approx 42nm eastward of Ponce and 20nm west of Point Tuna. The operations at Jobos Pier consist mainly of dry cargo shipments from small vessels and barges. To the west of the pier there is an open, concrete barge dock 192m in length with a buoyed access channel for the receipt of shipments of fuel oil for the Water Resources Authority. Las Mareas: (See separate entry) Chevron Phillips Core operate a tanker pier with two berths capable of loading and discharging petroleum or petrochemical products at Las Mareas Harbour, a man made port approx 4km west of Jobos Bay. There is also a coal discharge jetty for the area power plant.
