Kalama port (Port Code: USKAM) is a small river port. It is situated approximate 54nm from the sea on the Columbia River between River Mile 71 and 79 at coordinates N 46° 00' 30.66" - W 122° 50' 50.54". It is one of the jewels of the Pacific Northwest, with prime industrial land and exceptional move-in-ready industrial buildings. There are 2 quays used for grain export and 1 for import and export of steel and other general break bulk cargo. Approximately 6,300,000t of dry bulk cargo is handled and over 200 vessels visit the port annually. Its maximum draught is 12.2m, break bulk berth up to LOA 24m and grain terminal up to LOA 300m. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 259 meters.
