Kathmandu Port (port code: NPKTM), also known as Katmandu or Kantipur Port, is a dry port in Nepal. It is in the northwestern part of the Kathmandu Valley, near the confluence of the Baghmati and Vishnumati rivers. It is connected by the Tribhuvan Highway to the south connecting India, Prithvi Highway to the west and Araniko Highway to the north connecting China. It has a ropeway which connects it with Hetauda and carries 25 tonnes of goods per hour.
