Kharg Island (Port Code:IRKHK), also known as Jazireh-ye Khark is an oil terminal lying some 30km off the mainland coast of Iran. The island provides extensive oil loading facilities and is the principal crude oil loading terminal for Iran. The port installations lie to the southeast and southwest of the Island, the crude oil being piped from the mainland oil fields. Max size: Sea Island: Draught 32.0m, 500,000DWT. "T" Jetty: Draught 20.7m, 275,000DWT. Darius Terminal: LOA 274, draught 20.0m, 80,000DWT. LPG/Sulphur Berth: Depth 11.5m, 40,000DWT.
