Kolding port (Port Code:DKKOL) in Denmark handles a variety of goods using a trimodal model – goods are being transported to the port by ships, trains and trucks. Based on one successful experience of Mantsinen machine already, Kolding port has ordered their second Mantsinen for next year 2022.
Kolding is situated at the head of Kolding Fjord (length 5.4nm), 3.5nm from the north end of the Little Belt. The harbour is open to shipping all year round and is well protected from heavy seas and floating ice. The port is equipped to handle most kinds of general cargo with railroad connections to all the piers. Approx 1,000 vessels, 1,200,000t of cargo, 200TEU and 400 passengers handled annually.
