Kopervik (Port Code:NOKOP) is a transportation hub for scheduled boats going north to Bergen and south to Stavanger. Kopervik is a lively place with a nice harbour for yachtsmen and pedestrian shopping precinct. In the Middle Ages, Kopervik was a small town with a good harbor. Here, ships could get help to unload to a safe and good port, or further along the skerries on the west coast. Today it is one of the few unloading stations left in Norway.
