Kristiinankaupunki port (Port Code:FIKRS), alseo called Kristinestad, is a small-sized harbor, located in the Gulf of Bothnia, on the W coast of Finland. The port offers good anchorage with a lighted approach and depths of 6.1m within the inner harbour and 15m within the outer harbor. The principal exports are timber products; imports are coal, coke and gasoline. Two quays are available, one is stone and one wooden for dry/Ro-Ro and tanker cargoes. Ice usually keeps the port closed from the end of December to about mid April, excepting the oil harbour which may be open for a longer period. Approximately 35 vessels totalling 300,000GT visit the port annually.
The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this inner harbor is 131 meters and outer harbor is 240 meters. The maximum draught is 12 meters.
