Kuching (Port code:MYKCH) is located in the east region of the Malaysian state of Sarawak. The port has four terminals: Pending Terminal, approx 17nm from the sea with the Biawak Oil Jetties to the north of it, Senari Terminal, situated approx 8nm from the sea, Senjinkat Terminal and Tanah Puteh Terminal. The port has facilities for tankers, Ro-Ro, general cargo and container vessels. Agriculture is the principle industry. Imports: Manufactured goods, machinery and motor vehicles.Approx 1,930 vessels, 6,800,000t of cargo and 161,000TEU handled annually. Maximum dimensions for vessels using the shiplock (barrage) are: Length 95.0m Breadth 23.0m Draught during HW 5.2m Draught during LW 3.5m Airdraught 12.0m Largest vessel handled: "Mockingbird", general cargo, 34,970DWT.
