Lille Port (Port Code: FRLIL) is the third-largest French river port after Paris and Strasbourg.
It consists of a network of harbour platforms spread over the zone of Lille Metropole, and even beyond for some of them. These ports are all multi-modal, which means that they have at least two means of transport (canal/route), and the most important ones are tri-modal (canal/rail/route).
L.C.T (Lille Containers Terminal) is today one of the most important inner harbours of France. Extending on more than 10 hectares, LCT has a quay of 300 meters which is about to be doubled. The 6 railway connections represent 2,200 meters of railways and are directly connected to the highway network.
