Mariveles (Port Code:PHMVS) is located on the west side of Manila Bay, on the north headland. The port consists of privately owned terminals under the jurisdiction of Mariveles Collection Unit (MCU). The terminal's tank farm consists of heated tanks and pipeline viscous products that require continuous heating. The terminal has 5 fixed-roof tanks having a combined capacity of 180,000bbls. The Bataan Malt Terminal is owned by San Miguel Corp; it is operated and maintained by the San Miguel Brewing Group and designated primarily to handle the malt importation of the company. Third party cargoes are not allowed at this facility. It is located inside the ATI compound (formerly BASECO). The Mariveles Grains Terminal (MGT) is located inside the former BASECO compound. It was envisaged that it would handle corn, soybean meal and wheat importation passing through the Manila South Harbour. The final design, however, has given the terminal the capacity to handle other grain products such as barley, rice, malt and soybeans. Other private facilities include, Edison Bataan Cogeneration Co., Robust Rocks Resources Corp, and Herma Port Terminals, Inc, drydock facility.
