Mina Saud (Port Code:KWMSD) is situated on the south coast of Kuwait, in the Kuwaiti sector of the Partitioned Neutral Zone. Mina Saud Marine Terminal is located south of Ras Az Zour, approx 20nm x 244° from Madira Reef Light vessel. The port is operated by Saudi Texaco Inc, formerly Getty Oil Co Mina Saud (also known as Mina Al Zour). Vessels on passage to Mina Saud should pass approx 0.9nm S of the light vessel to an anchorage off Mina Saud which has a good holding ground with mud and sand bottom, however storms are liable to occur without warning. The port consists of two offshore berths for the loading of crude oil, the new SBM being in general use with the CBM available for standby use only. Approx 10,000,000t of cargo is handled annually. Max size: Largest vessel handled: LOA 370m, 400,000DWT, beam 70m and 17.6m draught.
Mina Saud (Mina Al Zour) marine terminal is operated by Saudi Arabian Texaco Inc. The Oil terminal is located in the Kuwait Sector of the Partitioned zone, south of Ras Al Zour with one SPM berth. The Single Point Mooring Buoy is the primary loading point at the Texaco Mina Saud terminal. The SPM is located 5 Miles off shore Al - Zour. No Anchorage is allowed within 500 meters of the SPM.
