Nakhodka (Port Code: RUNJK) is a port city in Primorsky Krai, Russia, located on the Trudny Peninsula jutting into the Nakhodka Bay of the Sea of Japan, about 85 kilometers (53 mi) east of Vladivostok, the administrative center of the krai. The port handles general and bulk cargoes, rolled metal products, timber, grain, ore, coal, potash fertiliser, building materials and cement. Oil and oil products in bulk berths available in the Oil Harbour. A passenger terminal is available and the port also has extensive berthage for fishing vessels. The new oil port of Kozmino on the east side of Nakhodka Bay began loading tankers between 150-300,000DWT via rail link, in Dec 2009 (see separate entry).
Port of Nakhodka (as well as port of Vostochny) sharing one harbor of Nakhodka, and anchorage areas are tightly situated one with another. The harbor washed down by Japan Sea and located conveniently hided by at Nakhodka harbour, washed by Japan Sea and included into ‘Zaliv Petra Velikogo’ gulf of Russian Fareast.
