Port Khalid (Port Code: AEKHA) is a multipurpose port located within the Arabian Gulf, on the west coast of the UAE. Established in 1976, it offers convenient access to every corner of the globe. Port Khalid consists of 23 berths of which 3 are dedicated to container cargo, and the rest can handle the most diverse types of cargo on the coast, including general cargo, roll-on and roll-off, project cargoes, and bulk cargo. It boasts 5 newly refurbished berths with an expanded depth of 12M. Facilities include two dock-side colds stores as well as oil and offshore support. Since it was first constructed, the Port of Khalid has continuously modernized its facilities and services. Its public-user cold store has capacity for 5,000 tons, and a private dedicated cold store offers capacity for 3500 tons.
