Port William Port (port code: GBPWI) is a small harbour in the Machars in southwest of Scotland, Wigtownshire, Dumfries & Galloway, the United Kingdom. It lies on the eastern shore of Luce Bay, looking towards the Rhins of Galloway to the west and the Isle of Man to the south.
The harbour was one of the first to be built in western Galloway. It is used by a few small local fishing boats and pleasure craft. It offers standard facilities including bollards, wooden fenders, access ladders, water and electricity points.
The harbour was extended in 1790 and again in 1848; its commercial importance continuing until the end of World War I. Further work was done to protect the harbour in the 1980s by building a breakwater to the western side of the harbour. The harbour is protected from north-westerly winds.
