Pozzuoli Port (Port Code: ITPOZ) is a port situated to the norht of the Gulf of Naples and 11km west of the city of Naples. The port is protected to the south by Molo Caligolano which is connected to the town by a small bridge. The basin, trapezoidal in shape, can accommodate numerous small craft, larger vessels may use the Molo itself. The port handles mainly wood pulp and passenger traffic to/from Gulf of Naples' Islands. It has a prevalent commercial and tourist connection with the islands of Ischia and Procida (only ferries, except for a daily connection with hydrofoil to Procida). Approximately 600,000t of cargo are handled annually.
