The port of Puerto Montt (Port Code: CLPMC) is a fishing and salmon growing port located on the Pacific Ocean. It is situated at coordinates South 41° 29' 54.09" - West 072° 58' 40.29". There is accommodation for general cargo, bulk vessels, Ro-Ro vessels and tankers. The main cargoes handled are fertiliser, wood chips, lumber, frozen fish, general cargo and petroleum. In addition, there are also two private petroleum terminals, Puerto Coralle and Calbuco. Approximately 1,270 vessels and 1,064,565t of cargo are handled annually. As a cruise port, Puerto Montt is the northern gateway to some of the most beautiful sceneries in Chile's Patagonia.
