The Port of Quebec (Port Code: CAQUE) is an inland port located in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is the oldest port in Canada, and the second largest in Quebec after the Port of Montreal. Owned by Government of Canada, it covers a land area of 210 hectares (520 acres) and has 30 wharfs. It is open throughout the year. The port comprises the following five sectors: Beauport Anse au Foulon, Estuaire, North Shore and South Shore. Infrastructure and equipment is available for handling and storage of general cargo such as woodpulp, newsprint, asbestos, powdered milk and other sensitive goods requiring covered storage. Open storage is for other cargo such as granite and other heavy rocks, lumber and electrical equipment. It is well-connected by road and rail links.
